Have you been looking for squiggly lined ribbon for years to go with your holiday decorations? Me too! Ever since I made my first Nightmare Before Christmas Skull decoration I had been trying to figure out how to make the stripe ribbon to accompany it. I wanted something that could get scrunched up in a box, get beat up and used year after year. You see, I'm a lazy decorator. I like to wire everything to garland or a wreath and then stick in up! So, I designed exactly what I wanted and spent years patiently (lots and lots of late night complaints to my husband 😘) sourcing the right manufacturer for the job.
This ribbon is sold by the yard. Please, be sure to measure twice for your needs. For reference I'm adding a picture of a wreath I made for my front door , which includes a bow that took 3.5 yards of 3" stripe with 2 yards of 1.5" stripe going around the wreath.
The 3" and 4" stripe is double sided with purple glitter on the back.
None of the ribbon is wired.
The new black ribbon is not coated on the back side so it is much thinner in texture. It's similar to the skull ribbon.
